41 North Carolina sons still wait to come home from Vietnam, North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Inc. remembers them the first Saturday of every month at noon at the Vietnam Memorial on the NC State Capitol Grounds and other special occasions for over 26 years and counting without missing once

In the middle, Cary Turner, 1st cousin to Lcpl Joseph Hargrove, who was left on the Island of Koh Tang during the Mayaguez Incident in 1975. He will have a book out soon "Bringing Joseph Home". He has been twice to the island trying to bring Joseph home. To Cary's left is his niece, Brandy Turner and to his right, Monica Cash, one of NCVVI's members.
